Tarte Tatin with Caramel Sauce

Ingrédients
- 190 g flour
- 165 g butter
- 50 g sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 60 ml water
- 1 apple
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp caramel sauce
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Mix the flour, butter, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add water to make the dough smooth. Roll it out on a floured surface.
- Peel the apple, remove the core, and slice it thinly.
- Mix the apple slices with brown sugar, cornstarch, chopped walnuts, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Spread the apple mixture in the center of the dough.
- Fold the edges of the dough up several times as shown in the picture.
- Brush the dough with beaten egg. Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples, sprinkle with walnuts, and bake at 190°C for 35 minutes.
- Top the tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with more caramel sauce.
