Use a hammer to break the Twix bars into large pieces while they are still wrapped. Open one side of the wrapper and place it vertically in a glass.
Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream into a cone with the tip cut off. Hold it above the Twix wrapper in the glass and pour warm cream over the ice cream so it flows through the hole into the Twix package.
Place an ice cream stick in the middle of the wrapper and freeze the glass and its contents for at least two hours.
Melt the chocolate and butter together until smooth. Remove the frozen Twix ice cream from the wrapper and dip it into the chocolate coating. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and decorate with caramel or chocolate sauce.
